Requirements McLaren Medical Group - Bay Region seeks a Locum PMampR physician to provide coverage from November 23 - November 27 and November 30 - December 4 Inpatient Rehab Unit 20 beds Reason for Coverage: Physiatrist VacationThe coverage request is Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm onsite daily no weekends are necessary November 23 - November 27 November 30 - December 4 The following should be included in the daily responsibilities Patients need to be seen face to face within 24hrs of admission On-site coverage Rounding Consults Face to face patient care Scheduled Team conferences these are already prescheduled cannot be rescheduled Monday 8:30am Wednesday 8:30am Friday 11am Will not cover outpatient clinic – Only Hospital Inpatient Rehab coverage 100 adult rehab Number of Patients Per Day: 10-20 on the unit 24 Hour Lab Available 24hr Anesthesia Department Documentation System/EMR: Cerner Trauma Level/Designation: Level III Certification Requirement BLS ACLS etc.: BLS PMampR Required Procedures: Pre?Admission Screening Review and Documentation per CMS Guidelines Prescribing Narcotics Discharge Summary/Med Rec Weekly Care Plan Documentation Post admission evals face to face visits IPOCS PAPE/H amp P Please note: Car fuel mileage hotel is a 150 cap including taxesrental must be refueled before being returnedDo NOT reimburse Med Staff FeesNo lodging booked through 3rd party websites ie expedia kayak etcMcLaren is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodgingExpenses covered by client will not exceed the limitations listed in the Travel amp Expense policy between McLaren Health Care amp AHSA.



Schedule Days, Can be partial days with availability to approve admissions via computer. Team conferences are Tues and Friday at 8am so those days would be an 8am start. Monday-Friday, no call, no weekends.
