POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of inventoried product. Handling and stocking of product in storage locations plus stocking of forward picking locations at the Fulfillment Center. Additional responsibilities include order pick releasing to prepare orders to be picked. Operates a hand truck and various types of powered industrial trucks.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

• Organize and manage the daily releasing of managed inventory, stock, and pick/pack order lines to ensure an efficient pick/pack/ship workflow and customer on time delivery.
• Collaborate with the FC Supervisor/Manager to establish and manage the daily workflow plan.
• Restock product on shelves and pallet racks.
• Assign new items to proper locations.
• Assist in profiling product on shelves.
• Assist in physical handling of bulk buy back returns & order returns.
• Enter inventory adjustments into the ERP/WMS system.
• Pick-up and deliver inventory product to the Fulfillment Center using the straight truck as needed.
• Cycle and physical counting of inventoried product.
• Consult with Scheduling and Customer Service departments as needed to execute priority requests.
• Remove obsolescence/product elimination from assigned warehouse locations.
• Setup Mid Max for replenishment report.
• Receiving and quality inspection of outsourced product for inventory.
• Run custom reports in PrintStream and Radius as needed.
• Research and communicate with the Customer Service, I.T., Planning & Scheduling, and other departments as needed to maintain procedures are being followed, ensure shipments remain timely and inform of impending late shipments.
• Pick and Pack customer orders as required.
• Provide employee Picking and Packing training and guidance as required.
• Ship domestic and international parcel customer orders as required using Process Shipper.
• Ship/Receive LTL domestic and international customer orders using Navisphere and Process Shipper, including all associated tasks such as weighting and wrapping skids, and loading/unloading of trucks as required.
• Pick Pack orders job putaway, order picking, packing, skid wrapping, and shipping.
• Provide employee training and assistance for parcel and LTL shipments as required.
• Operate required Powered Industrial Trucks, following all safety protocols.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

• Cross-train to pick and pack product, and ship parcel and LTL shipments.
• Ability to write work instructions and revise them as required.
• Work within a team environment at a high pace.
• Complete Quality Alert forms when applicable.
• Occasional operation of box shredder and stretch-wrapping machines.
• May be responsible for conducting initial and refresher Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) training and evaluations per OSHA standards for employees operating powered industrial equipment.
• This job may require overtime.
• All other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Competency/skills - Basic math skills, basic computer skills, Excel, Word, Outlook. Possess a proficiency in solving problems during difficult or unexpected situations. Prior ERP/WMS experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform in a detail-oriented environment, stay focused, work independently, and multitask.
• Strong preference to obtain and maintain a valid chauffeur license and accompanying certificates as mandated by Michigan Secretary of State within 60 days.
• Certification per OSHA/MIOSHA standards for Fork Truck (stand up), Order Picker, Electronic Pallet Jack, and Reach Truck.
