Department Manager

Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Some managers also lead Departments. Their responsibilities may include managing assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results back to their team and other managers. The Guest Service Department Manager’s responsibilities include ensuring crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are executed well, that all service staff are trained in service procedures, and that the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas are organized for the best service. The Kitchen Department Manager’s responsibilities include ensuring the restaurant delivers great quality, fast food that is always safe; that food cost is controlled; and that all kitchen staff are trained in production procedures, including any new items added to the menu. The People Department Manager’s responsibilities include hiring qualified crew, training them well, and scheduling them to meet restaurant sales and profit goals. They also ensure crew start off well at the restaurant and are recognized and motivated throughout their employment. Qualifications Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. Candidates should be positive team players with flexible schedules, a passion for working in the fast‑paced McDonald’s environment, and must be 18 years or older to serve as a manager at HHF Inc.
