Are you organized, people-focused, and looking to grow your career in community and property management? REI is looking for an Assistant Community Manager to join our Milford, CT team!

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants hands-on exposure to the day-to-day operations of community association management. You'll work closely with Community Managers while building relationships with homeowners, board and committee members, vendors, and internal teams.

As an Assistant Community Manager, you'll play an important role in keeping our communities organized, responsive, and running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Partner closely with Community Managers to support a portfolio of community associations.
• Prepare agendas, management reports, meeting materials, notices, correspondence, and homeowner communications.
• Maintain and update association and homeowner information in C3 and shared systems.
• Assist with annual disclosures, meeting notifications, financial statement packages, and other required community mailings.
• Support Architectural Review Board application processing and conduct community inspections when needed.
• Assist homeowners with questions, online portals, enrollment, key fobs, pool passes, access keys, and other community needs.
• Help prepare newsletters, flyers, notices, and communications regarding projects, meetings, activities, and maintenance.
• Assist with delinquency and collections tracking.
• Support requests for proposals, repair quotes, vendor coordination, and insurance notifications.
• Prepare violation correspondence and assist with communicating hearing outcomes to homeowners.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail and provide general administrative support to the office.
• Collaborate with Community Managers, homeowners, board members, vendors, and internal teams to deliver an excellent client experience.
• Take on additional projects and responsibilities as you grow in the role.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is proactive, organized, professional, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities. You'll be a great fit if you enjoy helping people, solving problems, and being part of a collaborative team.

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree strongly preferred.
• At least one year of customer service experience required.
• Previous community association management, property management, or related experience preferred.
• Experience working in a high-volume customer service or phone environment is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently.
• Professional approach to customer service and conflict resolution.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, including residents, managers, vendors, and board members.
