Front Office Associate

Employment Type: Full-Time

Join the team at the dental practice of Jonathan Eagle, DDS, in northeast Grand Rapids. We are an established, expanding practice looking for a personable Front Desk Associate to work four days per week. This role requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting. Dental office experience and knowledge of Eaglesoft are helpful but not mandatory; we will train the right candidate who demonstrates strong communication and computer skills.

Primary Duties:

• Assist with treatment planning communications and present treatment options clearly to patients


• Verify patient dental insurance coverage and assist patients with benefit questions


• Collect payments


• Check patients out professionally at the end of appointments and schedule necessary follow-ups


• Answer incoming phone calls, coordinate scheduling and manage appointment confirmations


• Complete administrative tasks that support patient flow and office efficiency

Working Hours:

Monday & Wednesday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (Lunch 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm)
Tuesday & Thursday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm (Lunch 11:00 am – 12:00 pm)
(Effective February 1, 2027: M, T, W 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Th 7:00 am – 3:00 pm)

No weekend work required.

Qualifications & Start Date:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Comfortable with computers and learning practice management systems; Eaglesoft experience is a bonus. Available to start as soon as possible.
