Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, featuring physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting lab results and imaging studies
• Work tightly with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment options
• Offer vital support during operations, prepping surgical spaces and ensuring proper patient positioning while delivering instruments with skill
• Provide superior pre- and post-operative care including medicine management, wound tending, discharge guidance, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Prior completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical experience is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification required
• BLS and ACLS certification mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
