Minimum Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab hospital experience required.
• Experience with GE cath lab systems, Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump, Penumbra, and IVUS preferred.
• Experience performing right and left heart catheterization (diagnostic and interventional) and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures preferred.
• Experience with Merge Hemo documentation system preferred.
• Willingness to rotate on call and cover STEMI call. Floating to nearby sister hospital for STEMI coverage possible.
• State licensure as required by Florida regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• EP (electrophysiology) experience preferred.
• Previous work in a multi-lab hospital setting preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM.
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts with rotating call.
• May be required to float to nearby sister hospital for STEMI call coverage.

As a Cath Lab Tech on assignment, you will support diagnostic and interventional cardiac care at a hospital in Ocala, FL. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver timely care, support STEMI response, and use advanced cath lab equipment. Your role will contribute to improved patient outcomes across the service area.

Ocala offers access to outdoor recreation and a historic downtown within short drives. Silver Springs State Park and the Ocala National Forest are within a 20–40 minute drive and provide kayaking, hiking, and equestrian trails. The downtown Ocala Square features galleries, restaurants, and the Ocala Civic Theatre within walking distance of local amenities. The region is central to Gainesville (approximately 45 minutes) and the Gulf Coast beaches (about 1.5–2 hours), supporting both suburban and outdoor-oriented lifestyles.
