Studebaker Healthcare Center - Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-time Position Location: Norwalk, California Company: Studebaker Healthcare Center Job Type: Full-time Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of healthcare professionals at Studebaker Healthcare Center in Norwalk, California. As a Supervisor RN, you will be responsible for the overall supervision of nursing care in our facility during your shift. You will provide direct, age-specific resident care, coordinate a team approach to meet individual resident needs, and provide clinical leadership to other nursing staff. Responsibilities: Supervise and administer direct nursing care when more than routine care is indicated Evaluate all residents with COC to assure resident needs are being met Provide support/education to staff, residents, and families Make rounds twice each shift to assure proper care and a safe, clean resident environment Meet with all new admissions to assure core needs are being met Assure accuracy and completeness of medical records Review resident record for all new admissions to assure complete per facility policies and procedures Assist with admissions, resident care plans, and resident assessments Responsible for all IV needs of residents Assists with Pharmacy and Dietary recommendations Assure meal trays are delivered in a timely manner Qualifications/Requirements: Current, valid Registered Nurse licensure to practice in the State of California Current BCLS certification At least six months prior RN experience in the past two years in a general acute care hospital setting, or acquired equivalent competency appropriate to the type of sub-acute residents that the facility provides care to Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information Ability to perform upper level mathematical operations Ability to communicate effectively in a clear, concise, and understandable manner What We Offer: A dynamic and supportive work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Competitive compensation and benefits package How to Apply: If you are a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse looking for a new challenge, please apply for this exciting opportunity.
