Craftsmen Contractors is hiring experienced Warehouse Clerks to assist at warehouse facilities at the Port of New Orleans and in the Desire area of New Orleans. The job entails helping manage inventory, processing shipments, maintaining accurate records, picking orders, and ensuring compliance with safety rules.

Will need to pass a criminal background check (no felonies allowed). You must work day shifts Monday - Friday. A current TWIC Card is required for this position.

These are temp-to-permanent positions for the right candidates.

Pay is $16/hour.

Weekly pay by direct deposit.

Job Duties:

• Manage logistics for warehouses
• Help track inventory
• Prepare shipments
• Complete paperwork for shipping and receiving, order picking, and inventory control.
• Inspect incoming freight for damage and verify deliveries match purchase orders.

Job Requirements:

• A current TWIC Card is required for this position. Receipts will not be accepted.
• At least 1 - 2 years of Warehouse Clerk experience is required.
• Will need to pass a criminal background check for this position. No felonies are allowed.
• Be able to lift and transfer at least 50 pounds.
• Have good physical stamina due to standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation is required to make it to work.
• Do the required paperwork.
• Authorized to work in the US.

The current work schedule consists of working day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:30 am- 4:30 pm and sometimes on Saturday when needed.
