Production Control Specialist

Position Responsibilities Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing processes and methods that comply with company policies and procedures, improves production efficiency, and optimizes product quality Monitors, assesses, and provides status on production progress, actions, issue resolution, and support needs Investigates product defects and production inefficiencies and develops solutions to reduce/mitigate Conducts staffing and cost analyses Coordinates and prepares justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation Represents manufacturing on production related issues Establishes and maintains production schedules This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Shift This position is for 2nd shift. Security Clearance This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start is required.) Basic Qualifications More than 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment More than 1 year of hands on experience building wire harnesses More than 1 year of experience leading teams More than 1 year of experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher Experience in the aerospace industry More than 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel Experience aggregating, visualizing, and analyzing data to make informed decisions (i.e. SQL, Excel, PowerBI, etc.) Typical Education / Experience Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc. Pay & Benefits At Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent. Summary Pay Range: $96,900 - $131,100 Relocation Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Travel Position may require travel up to 5% of the time.
