At CHS, we are creating connections to empower agriculture. Summary CHS Illinois in Pocahontas, IL is looking for a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist to join our team. This individual would be responsible for driving during the growing season and performing operations work in the non‑growing season. The ideal candidate would possess a Class A or B CDL and have their hazmat and tanker endorsement or the ability to obtain. This is a M‑F role with weekends as needed during the busy season. Join our team in Pocahontas today! Responsibilities Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently. Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading. Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery or equipment. Conduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks. Monitor and maintain inventory quality. Deliver products safely and professionally. Ensure compliance with all regulations including hours of service. Maintain clean and safe work areas. Perform grounds and warehouse maintenance. Report safety or customer issues promptly. Maintain strong safety culture. Perform other assigned duties Minimum Qualifications (required) 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations Must meet minimum age requirement Ability to read, write and communicate in English Additional Qualifications Maintain a CDL and DOT medical card Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends Hazmat and tanker endorsement preferred Valid Class A CDL preferred Agriculture background preferred Customer service experience preferred Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift 75 lbs Ability to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs and bins, and into back of trailer Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
