Join our team as a CNA — Transport Driver and be the friendly face that safely escorts residents to appointments, outings, and errands across our hybrid campus (four 12‑bed cottages + 57‑bed traditional home). What you’ll do Safely transport residents to medical appointments, therapy, errands, and community outings. Provide compassionate assistance entering/exiting vehicles, secure wheelchair/safety restraints, and assist with transfers as needed. Accompany residents during outings, offering personal care, supervision, and companionship. Ensure vehicle cleanliness, fuel, and routine checks; report maintenance needs. Complete accurate transport logs, mileage reports, and incident documentation. Communicate clearly with nursing staff about resident needs, schedules, and changes. Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies at all times. Must-haves Current CNA certification and active state certification in good standing. Age 25 or older. Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured on facility vehicles. Comfortable securing wheelchairs, assisting transfers, and helping residents with mobility needs. Professional, patient, punctual, and friendly—great with older adults. Ability to lift/move residents per policy and use mechanical lifts when required. Nice-to-haves Previous experience as a transport driver or in long‑term care. CPR/First Aid certification. Local knowledge and safe driving experience in varied weather.
