Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for obstetric patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer prescribed therapies, assist with labor and delivery, and provide postpartum care as appropriate.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across different levels, coordinating care with other disciplines while applying critical thinking and independent judgment.
- Document care accurately, communicate with the care team, and uphold patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, pediatrics, and support services to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license and eligibility to practice in the assignment state per licensure requirements.
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing is preferred given the specialty.
- Ability to work nights in a fast-paced inpatient obstetric environment.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.
