The Yardworker is responsible for handling various types and sizes of steel materials in an outdoor yard environment. This role involves operating powered equipment such as forklifts and loaders, along with occasional use of power tools. The Yardworker works both independently and as part of a small team to ensure efficient and safe yard operations.

Responsibilities

• Handle steel materials of various types and sizes
• Operate forklifts, loaders, and other powered equipment
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Use power tools as needed for yard tasks
• Maintain organization and inventory control within the yard
• Work independently and collaborate within a small team

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in yard work
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A
• Skilled in equipment operation
• Strong safety awareness
• Proficient in inventory control
• Effective teamwork skills
