CVICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced intensive care unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Interpret arterial blood gases and manage ventilator settings.
• Provide care for patients on ECMO and IABP.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of CVICU nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state or compact state required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Travel experience preferred.
