Role: Senior Natural Gas Treatment Engineer - Power Generation

Location: Houston, TX-Onsite


Job Description:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in natural gas treatment, fuel gas conditioning, or process engineering for power generation, oil & gas, or energy applications.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with reciprocating engine OEMs and/or gas turbine OEMs.
• Strong understanding of fuel gas impacts on combustion, emissions, and equipment durability.
• Experience interpreting gas analysis data and translating it into practical treatment requirements.


Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with both reciprocating engines and aeroderivative or heavy duty gas turbines.
• Familiarity with OEM fuel specifications from major engine and turbine suppliers.
• Experience with field gas, associated gas, or variable quality gas sources.
• Knowledge of SCR and emissions control system interactions with fuel gas quality.
• Experience supporting projects from conceptual design through commissioning.

• Comfortable acting as a technical authority while balancing cost, operability, and risk.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and diagrams, electrical schematics, piping, and instrument drawings (P&IDs), flow charts and cause and effect diagrams.
• Willing to travel to active sites, customer offices, vendor offices, training/conference venues, and other offices are required. This is typically 10-15% of available time. Travel for system deployment support may encompass weekends and holidays.
