• Verify patient insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations

• Collect and process co-payments and other payments accurately
• Maintain and update patient records in the electronic health record system
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide information regarding services and billing
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care coordination
• Adhere to confidentiality and privacy regulations, including HIPAA compliance

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare or administrative training preferred
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting or patient registration role is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Knowledge of insurance processes and billing procedures is advantageous
