Position Summary Under general supervision, responsible for preparation and blasting of customer parts according to written requirements and specifications. Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities) Responsible for preparing and transporting customer parts for blasting. Operate sandblast and related equipment. Carefully place completed parts in proper containers for shipping or next step in the process. Practice and promote safety and good housekeeping. Bring any unusual problem or irregularity to the attention of supervisor. Perform other tasks as assigned or dictated by the position. Responsible for the care and treatment of customer inventory and perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent loss or damage. Have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co‑workers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism. Qualifications Must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum one year in heat treating. Language: Must communicate effectively orally and in writing. Physical demands: Must stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and stoop. Work environment: Regularly exposed to heat, dust, noise, humidity, and fumes. Must be able to work overtime or any shift, including weekends as needed. Must wear protective respiratory gear and other safety equipment as required. Must obtain and maintain forklift operator certification. Physical & Mental Demands Work in a sitting position for extended periods (desk, driving, or airplane travel) in an office/industrial environment. Manual dexterity for data entry functions. Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions. Ability to lift 25–30 lbs. May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity. Have cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions. Communicate effectively orally and in writing. Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc. Ability to hear in person and via phone. Pay & Benefits Information The hourly pay for this position is $19.00 – $20.00 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non‑exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law. Benefits eligibility begins on day 61 of employment.
