Respiratory Therapist - Full Time

The Respiratory Therapist provides direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy, following physician orders and approved protocols while considering patient age. Responsibilities include setting up and managing mechanical ventilation, emergency care, assisting with cardiopulmonary resuscitation and intubations, monitoring physiological responses, and educating patients and families about their conditions and disease management techniques. Qualifications require a graduate of an accredited associate's degree respiratory program and licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Florida. Skills include clinical expertise in respiratory care, emergency procedures, patient education, and monitoring patient responses to therapy. Note: Employees are not required to operate vehicles for work purposes unless specified.
