Position: SSIS SQL Developer
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
Job Description:
Required:
- 8 year SSIS and MS SQL Server database experience
- 2 year experience in cloud technologies
- Extensive working experience with MS SQL Server databases including writing stored procedures functions and triggers as well as troubleshooting databaserelated issues for production fixesdefects
- Extensive working experience of working with Visualization teams PowerBI for creating the trackers and dashboards
- Troubleshoot the ETL failures and provide the temporary and permanent fixes
- Experience in performance optimization techniques for SQL queries databases and SSIS
- Perform database tuning and troubleshoot performance issues related to SQL queries indexes and table structures
- Monitor SSIS packages for performance and reliability resolving any failures or issues
- Able to record and document defects in an issue tracking system with the resolution steps
- Provide user management services such as notifying users of the ETL loads and status of issue resolution
- Work with other teams and stake holders as necessary including third party vendors if applicable to resolve defects that originate outside of the environment such as files not being received incorrect data etc
- Look for bottlenecks or optimizations in the production processes
- User management and Communication management about production systems
- Onsite Offshore Coordination daily
- Should possess good analytical coordination verbal written communication skills
