Job DescriptionJob DescriptionForklift Operator / Warehouse WorkerLocation: Harrison Township, MIPay: $19.00 per hourShift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PMLunch: 30-minute unpaid breakStart Date: ASAPAssignment Length: To Be DeterminedJob DescriptionLaborMax Staffing is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Worker for an immediate opening in Chesterfield, MI.The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse and Hi-Lo forklift experience, including building orders, scanning inventory, and handling shipping and receiving duties. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced food manufacturing and distribution environment.Job ResponsibilitiesSafely operate Hi-Lo forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and organize products.Accurately pick, build, and prepare customer orders for shipment.Use handheld scanning devices to track inventory and product movement.Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments.Load, unload, stack, and store products in designated warehouse areas.Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory procedures.Properly store products in warehouse racking, refrigerated, and freezer areas.Monitor and document product temperatures as required.Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and workplace safety procedures.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.RequirementsPrevious Hi-Lo forklift operating experience required.Previous warehouse or shipping and receiving experience required.Experience building, picking, and preparing orders.Ability to operate handheld scanners and accurately track inventory.Ability to read and understand shipping documents and order information.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to communicate effectively in English.Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.Willingness to work in refrigerated or freezer storage areas when required.Schedule & CompensationPay Rate: $19.00 per hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PMShift: First ShiftStart: ImmediateApply Today!We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.
