Health First is seeking a  Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our cardiovascular team in Melbourne, Florida.

This is a new opportunity within an expanding heart failure program. The position can be  dedicated heart failure or a  combination of heart failure and general cardiology , based on the physician’s interests and preferred practice mix.

• Monday–Friday schedule
\n
• No hospital call
\n
• Dedicated HF or HF + general cardiology
\n
• Outpatient heart failure management and inpatient rounding
\n
• Develop and grow the heart failure clinic and inpatient service
\n
• CardioMEMS implementation planned
\n
• Established cardiovascular program and referral network
\n
• Work alongside cardiologists, APPs, and cardiovascular subspecialists
\n
• Opportunity to develop additional heart failure services over time
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease
\n
• Advanced Heart Failure training preferred
\n
• Experience in heart failure preferred; strong interest in HF also considered
\n
• Interest in program development and collaborative care
\n

As a Primary Stroke Center, our goal is to transport, assess, diagnose, and treat each stroke patient within three hours of the onset of their symptoms. We also offer advanced, life-changing Interventional Neuro-Radiology procedures for advanced stroke treatment found nowhere else in Brevard. Our successes have been recognized by the American Stroke Association, who awarded us their  Get with the Guidelines Gold Award.
