Seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist for day shift in a skilled nursing setting with a collaborative rehab team.

Job Type: Per Diem
Pay Range: $44.00 - $46.00 per hour

Must be able to cover week day shifts.

Join Our Compassionate Healthcare Team as an Occupational Therapist!

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in evaluating, developing, and implementing treatment plans for residents, working to help them achieve functional independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and develop treatment plans for residents based on their medical diagnoses.

• Implement treatment plans to improve residents' goals toward functional independence.

• Assess and document residents' progress in detailed re-certifications, progress reports, and daily notes.

• Maintain resident confidence by ensuring the confidentiality of all information.

• Maintain documentation of resident care services by auditing resident and department records.

• Assume responsibility for clinically supervising occupational therapy assistants .

• Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to related documentation.

• Plan, develop, and organize OT-related reports and data tracking as directed by the Rehab Director.

• Assist in departmental projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.

• Current New York State Occupational Therapist License.

• Experience is a plus, though not required.
