Bilingual Supplier Quality Engineer

Strategic Staffing Expert Forvia is seeking a Bilingual Supplier Quality Engineer (English/Spanish) to join our team at our Simpsonville, KY plant. Key Responsibilities: Initiate and validate corrective and preventive actions with suppliers for immediate containment actions. Manage process audits of existing Bought-Out Parts (BOP) where the parts require problem-solving actions and coordinate with suppliers. Collaborate with plant buyers to implement supplier improvement plans. Track costs associated with supplier non-conformance and ensure cost recovery. Monitor supplier performance through formal systems (QSS, Validate) and report supplier status as needed. Perform on-site audits at supplier locations as necessary for process and corrective action verification. Establish PPAP requirements and perform PPAP verification for engineering changes. Compile lessons learned related to supplier issues. Comply with and reinforce Forvia's Code of Management and Code of Ethics. Perform any other tasks necessary to ensure supplier quality integrity. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a specialization in quality or comparable experience. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the quality field within an industrial environment. Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish. Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a matrixed organization. International mindset; overseas experience is a plus. Familiarity with customer-specific requirements (CQMS, CQR, EBSC, eCIMS, EWT, GCS, NCT, PRAS, QNA, webCN, WIS).
