Senior Security Engineer II

To enhance security capabilities, the full-time Senior Security Engineer II will work remotely to design, build, and operate automated security solutions while leading incident response efforts and mentoring junior engineers. Key responsibilities Design and implement solutions to improve and automate security capabilities across the organization Analyze security trends and metrics to identify opportunities for enhancing the security posture and collaborate with stakeholders for execution Lead incident response efforts, ensuring effective resolution and remediation of security incidents while refining security documentation Required qualifications BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or 8 years of security domain experience without a degree 4+ years of experience acting as a trusted advisor in a team setting 4+ years of experience coaching engineers or analysts Experience with modern cloud data platforms and data architectures Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language for automation
