Provides direct medical nutrition therapy for hospitalized patients. Essential functions include assessing nutrition status of patients with moderate to complex medical conditions, managing nutrition plans of care, providing nutritional counseling, and integrating data to provide medical nutrition therapy for patients with moderate to complex medical conditions. Population served includes medical/surgical conditions and diseases cardiovascular, neuro, GI, renal, immunocompromised including but not limited to: CHF, CAD, CVA/TIA, metabolic disorders, oncology, COPD, malnourished, etc.

Qualifications include (RD-STATE) Registered Dietitian - State, (RD/RDN) Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, and Bachelors Degree.
