The Brook Dupont, located in Louisville, KY, is an 88-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children and adults.

Key responsibilities include supporting and implementing program philosophy, working closely with other personnel to ensure that each treatment intervention is appropriate for the patient. Maintain high quality documentation of all therapy services consistent with facility policies in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines as established by facility policy and procedures. Maintain professional, ethical standards and all legal requirements. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide patient-centered care. Assess patients' needs regularly and assist in the development and updating of the Master Treatment plan. Facilitate group activity therapy to assigned patients. Assist team with planning and executing special events for patients. Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific physical, motor, cognitive, language and social/personality developments. Utilizing development levels within the application of activity therapy. Adhere to all safety policies and safe work practice. Attend hospital safety trainings.

Qualifications include a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited university and eligibility to sit for national exam conducted through the National Council on Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) for Recreational Therapists. A minimum of a master's degree from an accredited university and working towards registration with the Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB) for Art Therapists. A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited university and eligibility to sit for national exam conducted through the Certification Board for Music Therapist (CBMT) for Music Therapists.
