Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our Rehabilitation Facility in beautiful Fort Myers, Florida. You will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust treatment programs utilizing various modalities, manual techniques, and exercises.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive patient experience throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance treatment effectiveness and patient outcomes, leveraging research-backed methodologies.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers to empower them in their recovery process.
• Adhere to established minimum productivity standards and contribute to monthly team objectives for clinical performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Motion Care Rehab Center, you will engage with a diverse clientele ranging from orthopedic and neurologic patients to children in need of pediatric therapy and athletes recovering from sports injuries. Each patient presents unique challenges and goals, allowing you to apply your expertise across various physical therapy specializations. Your role will vary from providing rehabilitative care to developing personalized exercise programs that build strength and functional mobility.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to facilitate clear interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in computer applications and documentation practices that comply with regulatory standards.
• A strong aptitude for fostering therapeutic relationships with patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

While we consider all qualified candidates, preference will be given to those with prior experience in diverse therapy settings or knowledge in specialized modalities. Experience in orthopedic, pediatric, or neurological therapy is particularly advantageous. Compensation and Benefits

Our Physical Therapists receive a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
