Watts Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced doorsman to install commercial doors, frames, and hardware on projects in Huntsville and surrounding areas. We’re looking for someone dependable who takes pride in quality workmanship and can complete assigned installations with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Install hollow metal and wood doors, door frames, and commercial hardware.
Install and adjust hinges, locksets, closers, exit devices, thresholds, and weatherstripping.
Read door schedules, hardware schedules, drawings, and installation instructions.
Check doors for proper alignment, clearances, latching, and smooth operation.
Troubleshoot installation issues and complete punch-list work.
Communicate progress, material needs, and jobsite issues to the supervisor.
Follow jobsite safety requirements and maintain an organized work area.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience installing commercial doors, frames, and hardware.
Ability to measure accurately and safely operate installation tools.
Ability to complete quality work independently and coordinate with other trades.
Reliable transportation to jobsites in and around Huntsville.
Dependable attendance and clear communication.
