JOB SUMMARY: We are currently seeking an entry level Trailer Body Technician. This position would be responsible for repairing trailer body imperfections, repairing insulation, painting, and welding repairs. This is great for anyone wanting to start a career in Trailer Body Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Welding; minor and major body repairs
• Removing decals from Trailers
• Repair or removing insulations from Trailers
• Working with metal panels by straightening and completing bondo work as needed
• Realigning structural components
• Communicating with management about additional damage beyond original repair orders
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Complying with all company, OHSA and EPA rules and guidelines
• All other duties as assigned

• A pre-employment physical and drug screening is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic welding skills
• Basic painting experience

Physical Demands

• Maneuvering around, in, on, and under trailers/tight spaces
• Standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body movements
• Using hands to handle, control or feel
• Climbing ladders, stairs, and platforms
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
