Position: Production Operator (2nd Shift)
Location: Spruce Pine, NC
Pay: $19.61/hour starting pay, plus $1.00/hour shift differential upon transfer to 2nd shift
Shift: 2nd shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
Training: Must train on 1st shift prior to moving to 2nd shift
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve production schedules as directed by production needs
• Produce high-quality parts in accordance with product specifications
• Operate grinders and various hand tools to process cast-aluminum components
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain and perform routine care on equipment
• Strictly adhere to all established safety rules
• Follow process sheets and work instructions accurately
• Assist with training new operators as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with basic hand tools is preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Strong visual acuity to detect part incongruities
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
