General Description of Duties

Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Perform rough and finish carpentry on commercial projects
• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications with precision

Seeking a skilled commercial carpenter to perform metal stud framing, drywall backing, and structural layout, as well as install doors, frames, hardware, and other commercial specialties. The role also includes constructing blocking, bulkheads, soffits, wall assemblies, and supporting concrete formwork, temporary protection, and general carpentry tasks to ensure projects meet specifications.

The successful candidate will install acoustical ceilings, wall panels, and division systems, interpret construction documents, specifications, and code requirements, and coordinate daily with superintendents, subcontractors, and inspectors. Maintaining production pace aligned with commercial schedules, upholding clean and organized jobsites suitable for occupied or client-sensitive environments, and assisting with site logistics, safety compliance, and material handling are essential to success in this position.
