• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Health / Hospice
• Location: Charleston, WV 25311
• Coverage Area: Kanawha County
• Duration: 9 weeks
• Start Date: 08/28/2026
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Shift Length: 8 hours
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• On Call / Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend and one additional day per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• Mileage: Reimbursed between visits from first patient to last patient
• Education: Associate degree required
• Certification: Current CPR certification required

Job Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Home health nursing experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage patient visits efficiently
• Reliable transportation for travel between patient visits

Responsibilities

• Complete OASIS visits and provide skilled nursing care in the home setting
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and symptom management
• Maintain productivity expectations while delivering high-quality patient care
• Work scheduled weekends and additional on-call coverage as assigned
