Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Mission Hills, California. The role involves caring for neonatal patients in an acute care, magnet-designated facility. The shift schedule is days with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting as soon as possible. The position includes responsibilities such as routine baby care, assessments, and monitoring in a NICU environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of neonatal intensive care experience, California RN license in hand, BLS, NRP certifications, minimum 1 year of relevant NICU experience, current LA Fire Card within last 30 days
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting system experience is preferred; NICU experience attending to deliveries is not required but experience with NICU procedures is essential
• Float: Float rotation may be required, including transition duties for baby care after delivery, with potential high delivery volumes
• Responsibilities: Care for neonatal patients including routine vitals, assessments, skin-to-skin contact, breastfeeding support, routine labs, and use of specialized equipment such as ventilators and monitoring devices
• Additional Information: Must work at least 3 of the 5 major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. Candidate must disclose prior employment at a healthcare facility, along with references covering recent 6-12 months.
