Elevate Pilates is looking for an exceptional Studio Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and continued growth of our Hoboken studios.

This is a highly hands-on leadership role for someone who is organized, energetic, commercially minded, deeply people-oriented, and genuinely excited by wellness, hospitality, and community.

You will be the leader on the ground in Hoboken: owning the client experience, supporting and developing our team, driving membership growth and retention, overseeing studio operations, and creating the kind of elevated environment that keeps clients coming back.

We are not looking for someone to simply manage a schedule or sit behind a desk. We are looking for someone who can take ownership, see what needs to happen, and make it happen.

What You'll Own

Studio Leadership & Operations

• Own the daily operation of the Hoboken studios and ensure everything runs smoothly, professionally, and to Elevate standards.
\n
• Be a visible leader in the studio and a consistent point of contact for instructors, front desk, and clients.
\n
• Oversee schedules, staffing, coverage, studio readiness, supplies, systems, and operational details.
\n
• Identify problems before they become problems and proactively solve them.
\n
• Create and maintain clear systems, processes, and accountability across the studio.
\n
• Partner with ownership on larger operational initiatives and help execute company-wide priorities.
\n

Team Leadership

\n
• Lead, support, and hold the Hoboken team accountable to Elevate standards.
\n
• Help create a strong, positive, collaborative studio culture.
\n
• Support onboarding and training for new team members.
\n
• Conduct regular team check-ins and communicate expectations clearly.
\n
• Observe the client experience and instructor experience and identify opportunities for improvement.
\n
• Recognize strong performance while addressing issues quickly and professionally.
\n
• Help build a team that is warm, knowledgeable, accountable, and genuinely invested in our clients.
\n

Sales, Memberships & Retention

\n
• Own Hoboken's membership and revenue performance alongside ownership.
\n
• Track leads, trials, conversions, cancellations, attendance, utilization, and member retention.
\n
• Ensure every lead and prospective client receives timely, thoughtful follow-up.
\n
• Create accountability around sales without making the Elevate experience feel transactional or overly sales-driven.
\n
• Develop strategies to increase membership, package sales, attendance, and client lifetime value.
\n
• Identify cancellation risks and create thoughtful retention strategies.
\n
• Monitor studio performance and proactively recommend ways to improve revenue and profitability.
\n

Community & Growth

\n
• Become a recognizable face of Elevate within the Hoboken community.
\n
• Build relationships with local businesses, wellness professionals, residential buildings, hotels, schools, organizations, and other strategic partners.
\n
• Identify and execute community partnerships that introduce new people to Elevate.
\n
• Help plan and execute events, workshops, pop-ups, member experiences, and community activations.
\n
• Look for creative ways to get Elevate out of the studio and into the community.
\n
• Help make Elevate feel like a meaningful part of the Hoboken wellness community—not simply a place to take a Pilates class.
\n

Client Experience

\n
• Own the overall client experience from first inquiry through long-term membership.
\n
• Make sure clients feel welcomed, remembered, valued, and taken care of.
\n
• Handle client concerns with professionalism, warmth, and good judgment.
\n
• Look for ways to elevate the experience beyond the expected.
\n
• Pay attention to the small details that make a boutique wellness business feel exceptional.
\n
• Help create an environment that feels warm, sophisticated, knowledgeable, welcoming, and distinctly Elevate.
\n

Brand & Marketing Support

\n
• Work closely with the Elevate leadership and marketing team to support Hoboken-specific initiatives.
\n
• Help identify content, events, partnerships, promotions, and local opportunities that can drive awareness and traffic.
\n
• Ensure the physical studio and team consistently reflect the Elevate brand.
\n
• Bring ideas—not just execute assignments.
\n

You are someone who:

• Has 3+ years of management, hospitality, fitness, wellness, retail, or other client-facing leadership experience .
\n
• Has successfully managed people and is comfortable holding others accountable.
\n
• Is highly organized and excellent at following through.
\n
• Is naturally proactive—you don't need someone constantly telling you what to do next.
\n
• Is comfortable looking at numbers and using them to make decisions.
\n
• Has strong sales instincts and understands that great sales come from great service and relationships.
\n
• Is an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
\n
• Has a high level of emotional intelligence and good judgment.
\n
• Is warm, confident, polished, and personable.
\n
• Enjoys being around people and building relationships.
\n
• Can balance big-picture thinking with getting into the details when necessary.
\n
• Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, growing business where things evolve.
\n
• Has an entrepreneurial mindset and sees opportunities rather than waiting for instructions.
\n
• Is genuinely interested in wellness, movement, fitness, hospitality, and creating exceptional experiences.
\n
• Pilates experience is a plus, but it is not required. We care more about leadership ability, initiative, business instincts, and the ability to create an incredible client and team experience.
\n

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days, you should be:

Fully owning the day-to-day Hoboken operation.

Building strong relationships with the team and clients.

Establishing clear operational rhythms and accountability.

Creating a consistent lead follow-up and sales process.

Understanding the key numbers driving the studio.

Identifying opportunities to improve membership growth and retention.

Building relationships within the Hoboken community.

Taking ownership of events and local partnerships.

Proactively identifying and solving operational issues.

Becoming someone the team, and ownership can genuinely rely on.

Over time, success means Hoboken feels exceptionally well-run without ownership needing to be involved in every decision.
