Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Michigan SLP license required
• Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Background or interest in pediatric, healthcare-based, or school-based speech therapy
• Experience working in early childhood/ECSE settings preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to a small group of Headstart/ECSE students (preschool age)
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized goals based on IEPs
• Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state standards
• Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student outcomes
• Adapt therapy approaches to fit each child’s unique needs, ensuring growth in communication skills
• Attend relevant meetings or training sessions as needed
