Job Description

Crucible Coffee x Agora in the downtown Harrisonburg, VA area is looking for coffee nerds to join our Cru!

Part-Time, base pay + cash&card tips

These are the characteristics we find work well in this position and for Cru Members to truly enjoy their job:

Friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming and creative
Enjoy interacting with people
Ability to work independently
Enjoys coffee to taste for daily calibration
Eager to learn from our in-house team of coffee experts and ongoing training program
Knowledgeable about espresso techniques operating, maintaining commercial coffee equipment ( not required, but preferred )
Experienced in the coffee industry with references ( preferred )
Open availability throughout the week ( scheduled hours are 7:30AM - 6:30PM, with exceptions on Sunday and Monday )

Responsibilities :

Maintain a clean, tidy and professional work space
Prepare hot/cold drinks in accordance with customer needs by Crucible standards
Follow health and safety guidelines
Interact with customers regularly in a friendly and professional manner

Qualifications :

Proven work experience as a barista
Integrity with a great attendance record
Strong attention to detail and independence in a work space
Effective communication and listening skills
