Assistant Child Care Teacher Bethlehem, PA | Full Time, Hourly; Monday-Friday 6:00am-6:00pm; 8 hour shifts with 1 hour break | $14.00-$17.00 per hour We believe great minds are nurtured by great teachers. - High school diploma
- Associate/Bachelor degree or college credits from an accredited college or university in childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field preferred
- Are 21+ and have 2+ years of experience working with children in a professional, volunteer, or familial capacity
- Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment
- Ability to pass all relevant clearances
- Finding new and engaging ways to help kids learn
- Being patient and kind with our parents
- Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program
- Adjusting curriculum to ensure that all children meet the learning objectives
- Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children
- Support from an amazing team
