Lab Assistant I -Temp to hire

Natera seeks a Laboratory Assistant I to support specimen processing and workflow management in a diagnostics laboratory. The temp-to-hire position involves receiving specimens, preparing samples for testing, maintaining inventory systems, and ensuring timely delivery to appropriate lab stations.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed staff in preparing specimens for laboratory testing
- Receive and route specimens to appropriate workflows and labs
- Enter patient data accurately into the Laboratory Inventory Management System
- Maintain sample organization through proper storage and disposal procedures
- Prepare samples for shipment and manage laboratory inventory and supplies
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Science-related degree preferred
- Less than 1 year industry experience preferred
- Proficiency with Google Suites and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
