The Bartender is a key part of the Tacos & Tequila Cantina experience, delivering exceptional hospitality while crafting high-quality beverages that keep guests coming back. This role combines beverage expertise, guest engagement, and responsible alcohol service to create a fun and memorable atmosphere at the bar and throughout the restaurant.

• Welcome guests with a friendly, energetic, and engaging attitude.
• Provide attentive service that exceeds guest expectations.
• Build genuine connections with guests while creating a fun and inviting atmosphere.
• Help ensure every guest leaves with an exceptional dining and bar experience.

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of our signature margaritas, cocktails, tequilas, beer selections, and menu offerings.
• Make recommendations and guide guests through beverage and menu selections.
• Ensure drinks are prepared accurately, efficiently, and consistently.

• Verify guest identification and comply with all local, state, and federal alcohol service laws.
• Complete required food handler and alcohol awareness certifications.
• Monitor guest consumption and responsibly serve alcohol.
• Politely refuse service when required by law or company policy.

• Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS system functions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Work collaboratively with servers, food runners, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.

• Represent Tacos & Tequila Cantina with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
• Demonstrate our T.A.C.O. core values in every interaction.
• Remain open to coaching, feedback, and continuous development.
• Follow all restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
