About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Mammography Radiology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Leesburg, Florida. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mammography and the ability to interpret general radiology studies. Experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) and neuroradiology is a plus.

Responsibilities

· Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography studies.

· Perform mammography diagnostic procedures as needed.

· Interpret general radiology studies, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.

· Evaluate MSK and neuroimaging studies as appropriate.

· Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

· Collaborate with the healthcare team to support high-quality patient care.

Practice Details

· Daily Volume: Approximately 90–100 studies per 8-hour shift

· Expected Productivity: 60–70 wRVUs per shift

· Modalities: X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy

· Case Mix: Mammography screening and diagnostic procedures, MSK, and neuro

· EMR: Epic

· PACS: Merge

· Dictation System: Fluency

· Weekend Requirements: None

· On-Call Requirements: None

Qualifications

· MD or DO degree.

· Board Certification in Radiology.

· Active Florida medical license.

· Current DEA registration.

· Mammography interpretation experience required.

· Ability to interpret general radiology studies.

· MSK and neuroradiology experience preferred.
