Volunteer with Honor - Support a Veteran on Hospice
Luminary Hospice of Kansas City
Veterans served our country with courage - now you can serve them with compassion. Luminary Hospice of Kansas City is seeking in-person volunteers to visit and offer companionship to our veteran patients. Your time can provide comfort, dignity, and connection to those who've walked a path of service.
As a volunteer, you may:
- Visit one-on-one with a veteran patient
- Listen to their stories and honor their legacy
- Share quiet moments, music, or conversation
- Provide a reassuring presence
- Help create a peaceful, respectful environment
Prior military experience is appreciated but not required. We welcome volunteers from all walks of life who wish to honor our veterans in a meaningful way.
