Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Weekends every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a Main OR setting serving an adult to geriatric patient population across approximately 7 rooms with an average daily census of 20–25 cases
• Support a broad range of surgical procedures including total joints, spine, sports medicine, podiatry, general/laparoscopic, robotics (DaVinci XI), vascular, urology, and colorectal surgeries
• Operate and assist with specialized surgical equipment including OSI and Allen spine tables, Arthrex scope towers, DaVinci XI robotic system, Zeiss microscope, and various energy devices
• Accurately document patient care utilizing Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems
• Participate in on-call coverage as required; call needs are minimal with in-house teams covering weekends and nights
• Adhere to holiday work requirements per contract terms; compliance with all onboarding and orientation requirements is mandatory prior to start

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency or ability to work with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR documentation systems
• Ability to meet full compliance requirements within required onboarding deadlines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgery, particularly DaVinci XI platforms
• Familiarity with spine, vascular, or urological surgical procedures
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-volume OR environment
