Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to devise and implement patient-centric surgical treatment approaches
• Provide support during procedures, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments
• Deliver exemplary pre- and post-operative care, overseeing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Surgical-focused clinical rotations are highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills
