Welding Supervisor

We're seeking a Welding Supervisor in Greenville, SC to lead shop welding operations for fabricated pipe spools while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Impact
- Drives production efficiency by managing daily diameter inch targets for manual and automated welding.
- Ensures all pipe fabrication meets strict ASME codes and customer specifications.
- Promotes a culture of safety by conducting daily audits and enforcing proper PPE usage.
- Minimizes rework and scrap through rigorous material verification and quality oversight.

Responsibilities
- Lead welding personnel to meet daily production, quality, and safety goals.
- Oversee manual and automated welding operations, including training new staff.
- Interpret isometric and orthographic piping drawings to guide fabrication workflows.
- Coordinate with engineering and quality teams to resolve design or production issues.
- Track and report daily production metrics such as manpower, scrap, and recovery plans.
- Manage welding consumables and ensure proper issuance of controlled weld wire.
- Document all weld activities in the company tracking system at the end of every shift.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and complete required safety task assessments.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping standards and schedule minor equipment maintenance.
