Physical Therapist (PT) Role & Responsibilities: The Physical Therapist conducts individualized therapy programs, including assessment, treatment, planning, and education, to optimize patient progress towards functional goals. They evaluate patient needs, develop and adjust care plans, and collaborate with healthcare professionals. They supervise support staff, ensure compliance with standards, maintain documentation, and promote professional growth through ongoing education. The PT also provides leadership, acts as a community resource, and upholds safety, infection control, and resident confidentiality policies. Qualifications & Skills : Knowledge of physical and developmental needs across age groups Ability to remain calm in emergencies Graduate of an APTA-approved program At least one year of experience as a physical therapy aide Current state license from the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners Strong communication, decision-making, and active listening skills Ability to work independently, demonstrate integrity, and collaborate effectively Adherence to safety, HIPAA, and community policies #J-18808-Ljbffr Azza HealthCare Agency
