Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team at bb.q Chicken! As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the restaurant’s daily operational performance and financial well-being. You will help operate, train, and lead staff, ensuring they reflect the restaurant’s high standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience managing a successful restaurant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Open and/or close the restaurant to include prep, cleaning, re-stock, or counting cash drawer

Execute and/or mentor staff on daily preparation to ensure food safety standards

Execute and/or mentor staff on cooking of menu items while maintaining quality and cleanliness

Execute and/or mentor staff on packaging of menu items and ensuring orders are prompt and correct

Lead team in providing exceptional customer service

Help maintain and track inventory of food supply and ingredients

Train, manage, and conduct periodic performance reviews of staff

Adhere and coach staff to all health and safety rules and regulations

Develop and coordinate marketing efforts and community events

Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED

Previous restaurant management experience

Familiarity with Delivery Platforms (DoorDash, UberEats, etc) and Toast POS software

Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure

Excellent management and leadership skills

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
