Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, arranging for diagnostic testing, and developing personalized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with physicians or independently, based on your credentials
• Providing education to patients and their families concerning wellness, prevention strategies, and disease management
• Prescribing relevant medications and therapies within your established scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management for continuity of care
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, integrated patient care
• Accurately documenting interactions and treatment plans in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications and Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in North Carolina
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent in your specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capacity to obtain within 90 days)
