As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Calvert, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will complete routine patrols, respond to site needs, and bring our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, post orders, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, observing conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, assisting with visitor processing and reporting discrepancies or suspicious behavior.
• Support daily operations by communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal management, completing required reports, and following client-directed protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
