The Emerging Futures accredited coach training develops the skills of our volunteers, motivating people to give back and reconnect with their community. Key Information Position: Area Service Manager Contract: Full‑time Salary: £43,306 – £50,250 per annum Location: Cheshire East Hours per week: 37.5 Application closing date: 22/02/2026 About the Role As the Area Service Manager you will be an experienced operational manager with a proven track record in managing front‑line substance misuse, recovery and/or housing services. You will be a member of the national Joint Leadership Team (JLT) and oversee, shape and develop our services across a defined geographic area. You will manage multiple housing projects across Cheshire and work alongside teams delivering support. Working with the National Housing Team you will ensure all housing stock complies with local authority and statutory landlord standards, appraise new and existing stock, assess long‑term viability and report growth opportunities. Working with the Head of Operations you will create a culture that supports the ethos of the organisation and provide values‑based, clear and passion‑driven operational leadership to your teams. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple housing projects across Cheshire. Ensure compliance with local authority and statutory landlord standards. Appraise housing stock, assess viability and report growth opportunities. Lead teams and promote values‑based operational leadership. Collaborate with the JLT, National Housing Team and Head of Operations. Qualifications & Experience You will have experience of managing adult social care or housing services within the third or public sector. You should also have: Skills in managing contracts, service agreements and performance monitoring systems, including data analysis and reporting. Strong financial management skills, delivering services within budget. Excellent skills and demonstrable experience in report writing and incident reporting. Experience developing partnerships and working collaboratively. Comprehensive awareness of recovery interventions and understanding of supporting staff with lived experience.
